Poor drilling in concrete

I bought these drill bits to drill concrete with a hammer drill. I bought well-known brands of drill bits from a large store nearby. Using brand name drill bits I was able to drill about six holes before each bit seemed to lose effectiveness in my 18 volt hammer drill. I bought these drills because they were a lot cheaper. After using up branded drills, I switched to these drills. I immediately noticed a drop in performance and struggled to drill each hole with an 18v hammer drill, which worked well with brand name drills. I took a hammer drill and tried using these drill bits with it and I managed to drill about a dozen holes with 6 of these drill bits and the process was very slow. These drills were safe in my 18v. Punchers, but they continued to spin freely when using a much more powerful puncher with a fork. Well-known brand drills had a more reliable hexagonal connection. I got to a hole that these drill bits couldn't handle the plug in the punch and I gave up. I rummaged through my junk and pulled out used brand name drill bits that weren't sharp enough to work with an 18 volt hammer drill, but they could finish this hole with a clogged hammer drill. Too bad I didn't buy these drills. I bought 3 packs of 5 drill bits and will probably throw the unused ones in the trash.

Pros
  • Used with standard drill bit
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
