Review on Improved 480x320 Touch Display for Raspberry Pi 3.5 Inch - LANDZO by Betsy Clark

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good item! - Get Ur Pi OS updated and be the first online. & Check out the terminal!

Good product lil !But definitely not for Pi OS newbies !These LCD screens need drivers (in my case). I had to search for img from the top and bottom. Then img must be unpacked and the tar.gz file opened. I've spent 24 years on Windows, 8 years on Android OS and 4 years on Nexus OS. Along with Chrome, Linux Puppy OS! So I'm anything but new to the software. People love new operating systems, but they can't significantly increase the level of access for newcomers. Simple step-by-step instructions, no wiki or forum full of jargon, tips and tricks! I got lucky as this was my second 3.5 screen I've bought. 1. 2-3 years ago it was wiser to know what I know now! I wish I had a link to a post on installing your display! Maybe later, for now I just want to calibrate it to the screen size. The best idea is a link to a video or written guide for beginners. For example - 1) how to download archived images. (Simple) 2) How to unzip img. File (simple) 3) Where n how to update the operating system and in which tar file is the script to install the drivers (verbose) 4) Let me know before you run the driver script. Pi must be online 5) Detailed inst. how to open "terminal" and cut and paste the (interesting) script into the terminal. 6) Then run the script to install it! BTW, once you've done this, your Pi will boot to a display, not a monitor, until you cut and paste the script into the terminal to change it back. I may be wrong, but not because of the information. & inst. Wrer is ahead! If there is a better way, please leave a note in the box, video or website for detailed step-by-step instructions. For newbies! Experienced professionals need not be told otherwise. Great coaching creates a great learning team and supports the product. Don't shame beginners because they learn without knowing everything. I'm using Noob's "Rasp Buster OS" so your results may vary.
