This ETHERNET D-LINK EBR 2310 ROUTER is junk. I spent 8 hours over 2 days working on it to get it working [my computer skills are above average]. I was finally able to connect my computer and Blu-ray player to the internet. While I was opening the champagne, the router suddenly died. It literally worked for two minutes, after which it became a coaster. That's very sad. Keep in mind that with all the work, despite the help from their tech support (better via email than phone, btw) I was never able to get the router set up properly. I've looked through disk software, then updated software on their website, then their online manual configuration in addition to 'network magic', to no avail. I am of course sending it back to Amazon for a refund. I could keep it if I could hire someone to turn it off and on every two minutes for the rest of my life! The device will run an additional two minutes each time you reset it. Long story short, I went to Fry's and bought a Linksys 4-port ethernet router with a built-in [etherfast] switch. I brought it home and within 30 seconds I was ready to go. my blu-ray is communicating with netflix while i'm writing this review on my desktop. Of course, I probably paid too much for the Linksys ($60), but according to my boss, my 8 hours of work cost about $1,600. And what price can disappointment pay. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be frugal, at least not with D-Link.
