Review on Enhanced Safety with Cardinal Gates Extra Tall Premium Pressure Gate by Tricia Rae

I really like this gate. It's reliable and easy to use. It opens in every direction and doesn't stand open, allowing it to be moved back and forth comfortably without having to work to close it behind you. It's a bit more complex than I want to open. You really need a free hand, and I often hold things with both hands. But it is constructed in such a way that dogs and children cannot climb over it. What catches my eye is a gate with a slat that only serves as a climbing pole. These are all smooth verticals and quite taller than most goals. It's actually a little more than I need as we only have a small Shih Tzu who isn't exactly athletic. It's a bit annoying that the extension is so expensive. But everything went smoothly and was easy to install. Check back from time to time. Each tension gate tends to loosen up a bit with use. EDIT: I'm updating this to five stars. I've had it close gently many times to keep it from snapping. Then I can go through it again with both hands. I'm considering putting in a small pad so it doesn't tear most of the time.
