Review on 🚽 Convenient Valterra Twist-On Waste Valve for Easy, No-Mess Waste Management in RVs, Campers, and Trailers by Ron Collins

Great solution for a broken valve.

Great fix for a broken black tank valve. But like others have said, it just happens. By simply removing the cap, you twist the valve just enough to loosen. You must be very careful when removing the cap and tube. I have a broken black valve in the open position. So if the valve came loose when resetting, I'll spend some time cleaning it. I decided to make sure he didn't come off until I told him. Look at the photos to see the solution. The plastic tabs are on the side of the trailer and I drilled 1/16" holes in the cam locks on the valve. (see pictures). I drilled the holes so they are very close to the plastic tabs. I used a hand drill and drilled straight and slow. I went to the hardware store and bought some very small 1/16" safety clips. I installed the valve and put the safety clips in place and now the valve won't come loose. Clips need to be removed. I'll probably tape the clamps with a couple wraps of tape back up just to make sure they don't work it worked very well and only cost a few bucks.
