Initially I followed a YouTube video which was pretty easy to figure out how to solve the temperature problem in my 2004 Toyota Highlander, all was going well until I disassembled everything and didn't remove the broken wires and started soldering new wires. I understood the concept but had no experience. Realizing I was failing terribly, I turned to the internet to find a solution. This was fixed for either $400 or around $100 with this kit. I bought the set and it saved my life! I wasn't sure if I should change the lightbulbs, but I did it anyway, just to be safe. You also need to make sure that all connections are inserted straight as they also tend to go crooked. Finally, the instructions did not explain how to replace the window: remove the small extra board and pull out the original plastic window, then put everything back together, then make the final connection through the hole and then put that new window on. I wish I could find this first, someone should put the video on YouTube!
