They are not only suitable for water shoes if like me you have children with autism. I've had problems with clothes and shoes for years. I wish they were like this when my son was a kid he had a strong shoe sensitivity the way they fit the back of the shoe especially now that my youngest she is 7 has the same issues and she always on her toes, so she needs something on the back of her shoes that flexes at her toes or else she refuses to wear them. I've tried flats, they work, but they're not really meant for the streets. That's great
