Perfect! As close as possible to perfect cleanliness!

I own a 2100 sqm. Feet with almost all wooden floors. Mopping floors is a serious job and needs to be done frequently due to foot traffic -AND- lots of bare foot/hand contact and sweat from daily fitness/pilates activities. I only wish I had found this device sooner! Here's what I experienced: THE FLOOR MUST BE PREPARED PROPERLY. I started with a thorough sweep, then vacuumed the edges, corners, and hard-to-reach areas. The same procedure I do with a mop before washing. If you don't take this step, you won't get good results. A steam cleaner is not a broom or vacuum cleaner and does not pick up debris or dirt. THE FIELD HAS AN INITIAL LAYER OF DIRT THAT SHOULD BE REMOVED WITH A MOP AND PAIL OF WATER. In addition to the surface to be cleaned, a good layer of mop residue had to be left on the floor during this cleaning process. I just wipe down with a homemade mixture of water, tea tree oil, isopropyl alcohol, and vinegar. If I were to use a detergent or soap based cleaner I would expect the mop residue to be significantly worse. I also mop regularly so the dirt on the floor doesn't come from negligence, but from normal everyday use. If you don't mop your floor regularly, you'll need more than one steam mopping pass to deal with what's on your floor. COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE STEAM MOP 'THROUGH DIRT' I have noticed in high traffic areas that the steam mop head left a small amount of dirt/dust that followed the floor clean as I mopped. I could also feel increasing resistance as the mop slid across the floor in these areas, which required a little more force to push through and after a few passes gave way to the normal gliding of the steam mop. This leads me to believe that the dirt/dust left by the steam mop was actually dirt/dust that had stuck to the floor surface over time and that the steam mop had effectively loosened. In addition, the remaining dirt/dust was easily picked up by the vacuum cleaner and was not picked up again when the floor was swept again with the steam mop. EASY TO USE: ADVANCED FITNESS REQUIRED. Box, assembled and up and running in five minutes. A piece of cloth attached to the floor squeegee head takes about 30 seconds to become damp enough to move freely across the floor. At this stage, some physical effort is required to move the steam mop across the floor; It's essentially a wet rag on a stick that's pushed across the ground, so there's some resistance that requires a moderate level of fitness. In comparison, I found that it was the same physical exertion required by my mop when multiple push-ups of the mop were accounted for. MAIN STEAM MOP REVIEW: I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could effectively and efficiently use and maneuver the steam mop with both hands. This is something I can't do with a pivoting mop, which results in repetitive one-way body movements that always cause pain and back pain. Floor. On the first pass I really took my time to work through the initial residue that I knew was on the floor using four cloth mop heads. On the second pass, I quickly moved across the entire floor (at the same speed as when vacuuming the floor) using only a floor mop cleaner. (See image for a comparison of what the steam mop collected both times.) The steam mop ran for a full four hours without incident, and I used just under a gallon of water for the entire clean. The mop cloth nozzles did not stray or break. THE MOST INCONVENIENT WAY TO USE A STEAM MOP was cord navigation, and this can be compared to the same inconvenience experienced when navigating a vacuum cleaner cord when vacuuming. so no major inconveniences. Second, they stopped regularly to fill up the water tank. The spare glass that comes with the mop makes this very easy, so no major inconvenience here either. LAST STEAM MOP VS. TWIST MOP CONCLUSION: THE STEAM SWINGER MASHED IT! After using the steam cleaner, the floor is ridiculously clean; it has probably never been cleaner. Literally "cleanliness to the point of creaking". My shoes squeak when I walk on the floor. The steam mop does not leave water stains on the floor (unlike a spiral mop) so the end result is amazingly bright and shiny as can be seen in the attached photos. I will most likely only use my swivel mop once more to deal with large water stains (due to a leak from a water bottle or occasional installation issues). TIP: Be sure to purchase additional cloth mop heads. There is only one steam cleaner. After reading the reviews before purchasing, I decided to purchase two additional packs of fabric mop heads, which turned out to be the perfect amount for that first cleaning. I'll probably only need two or three for future cleanings, but I'm happy to have more on hand just in case.
