Let's start with the basics. The item looks brand new and arrived VERY quickly (4 days) and was well packaged. No issues with damage/lag. Now for the good. Like many of the other reviewers here, I bought this hard drive to upgrade my PS4 storage and all I can say is WOW! I love this thing! Installation was easy. Yes, this drive is slightly thinner than a standard 500GB drive. TIP: I slipped a Crafters popsicle under the new drive to line up the mounting holes with the PS4 drive tray. DO NOT over tighten the mounting screws and once all 4 are in place simply slide the handle out of the tray and you are done! After reinitializing my PS4 with a new drive (1.77TB available), I was able to load all my save data and reinstall my ALL game library (38 games + expansions etc, 823.4GB so far) so I'm not even halfway there. I'll update this post if there are any issues, but for now I'm a happy gamer. If you are considering this update for your PS4, I HIGHLY recommend GIVING IT!
