Okay, but I'd like to use my programmable remote control to control it.

Hookup was easy and sounds very good (especially for the price). The only real problem is that I can't program another universal remote to control it. There might be a controller but I haven't found it yet. But if you don't need a remote then this is a very good soundbar for the price. A definite improvement over TV speakers.
