Not cast iron - the coating peels off after a month :(

I loved this so much when it arrived. I cooked with it yesterday and noticed black spots in the food. The coating is peeling , with silver underneath! I cooked with cast iron for years - and this piece doesn't fit - see attached image. I just went online to process a return and just out of the returns window donated and didn't return. So upset! Seller, can you fix it?
