Slightly smaller than expected but only because I didn't really think about how much 16 ounces is. They fit perfectly in standard drink holders. If I use them, next time I'll use 24 oz. The plastic is very good. The lids fit very well and are secure. The plastic used in the lids is too strong for my regular straws and actually crushes or pinches them. I took the lids and pulled back the straw flaps a bit before snapping the lids onto the cups.
