Don't glue with gold leaf unless the color of your project is brown. Dries quickly and doesn't stick.!
When you need gold leaf on the floor and everywhere, a walnut tag in a picture frame. Then this brown crap is for you. Gold foil will not stick to it. Their sticky sheets seemed loose and when you try to put this stuff on gold it turns brown. So if all you need is trash filler, buy it, it comes ready to use. With rust in the water you would probably get better results.
