just my opinion

I've been looking for a long time for a solvent based product that seems to be discontinued. This is a water purification replacement and it worked just fine, just not what I wanted. I would probably buy again if I had another gold leaf restoration project. The old formula was so excellent. Products I've bought elsewhere and tried at least 5 brands just don't work as well as the original formula.

Perfect antique glaze!

I was very scared to buy this glaze after reading the reviews. I just painted the frame with gold leaf but needed a glaze to give it an antique look. But let me tell you that I loved how it turned out! Brownish glaze. I used a brush to apply, waited 1 minute and then gently dabbed a little with a paper towel (a bit sticky). Leave to dry overnight. So happy with the results! Be sure to wear gloves

Don't glue with gold leaf unless the color of your project is brown. Dries quickly and doesn't stick.!

When you need gold leaf on the floor and everywhere, a walnut tag in a picture frame. Then this brown crap is for you. Gold foil will not stick to it. Their sticky sheets seemed loose and when you try to put this stuff on gold it turns brown. So if all you need is trash filler, buy it, it comes ready to use. With rust in the water you would probably get better results.
