This stuff is amazing! It really was as easy to install as it says. I also bought the "window film installation kit," but ended up returning it because the plain water worked just fine.I cut the film slightly larger than the window dimensions; I had a spray bottle filled with plain water (adjusted to spray a fine mist), and sprayed the window first. Go ahead and use plenty of water. Then I peeled off the backing paper and sprizted the back of the film, though I'm not sure that would be necessary.I slapped the film up on the wet window. This is the part I was skeptical about, fearing that the film would get stuck in the wrong position. But the water lets the whole thing slide around easily. I aligned the top and one side, letting the excess hang over the other two sides. Oh, and I had a towel rolled up along the bottom of the window, because the next part could get a little messy. I used the included scraping device to smooth all the air bubbles out, which also pushes out all the water, and that's what the towel is for. (If you do this when it's dark outside it's easier to see any air bubbles!)Once all the air was out I used a craft knife to trim off the excess, and that was that. It looks great, and I'm so pleased!
