The speaker is very solid, but when used with an acoustic system it is not loud at all. I work in construction and use it at work. It's installed under the hood of my Tacoma 4x4. This is good for the construction site. Heard well. But people on the road while driving will NOT hear you if you want them to. I recommend getting a 100 watt Pa system. Here's what will work. If you're using Cb like me, the max power output is about 5W, so your Pa speaker is running at 5 watts! But this speaker is strong. Well made and does what I need! It is much bigger and very heavy compared to the picture!
