Unusual features PRODUCT UPDATE

Only used for a few days so I'll update - but now: SOME FUN FEATURES. The unit comes with a drain hose, but it's a custom size and not the usual garden hose connector found on most other units. If you already have a drain hose installed (like mine), you may need to make some modifications. The air inlet for the device is on the back. This makes the device look more modern, but feels a bit unusual. I don't know how this affects performance - maybe even improves it - as power blows forward. THE DEVICE NEVER TURNS OFF. My unit has the fan running all the time even though the vaporizer is working properly to maintain the correct relative humidity. It's not a showstopper, it's just different than other devices I own. Again, this can even be a positive trait as it keeps the air moving. The device is VERY QUIET. Major advantage. The tank is VERY SMALL. A big minus if you do not use an external drain. The TIMER can be set to turn on the device 24 hours before start or turn off the device 24 hours before start. A plus. Wheels are delivered permanently assembled. In my setup, a device without wheels would have been desirable. The device comes with a CAUTION NOTICE to leave the device in an upright position for 24 hours before turning it on. This is actually a common practice for installing a compressor that most other units don't mention (like most people never would). Thanks to the company for including something that can prevent problems. Update: After a few days of use, the device seems to maintain the set humidity level and the DEVICE TURNS OFF. Now that it's off (at the right relative humidity), the device turns on every two or three minutes (continuously) for about 5 seconds. Do you check the relative humidity in the air? Does he sing in the rain? I don't know - but again, although unusual, it seems to be working correctly. UPDATE IN A FEW MONTHS: After continued use, I have updated the "star" rating of this device. The device shuts down normally after reaching the correct relative humidity. Here, too, the device is very quiet and interference-free. The hose connection is a bit unusual for many users, but has proven to be perfect for my setup. It's not a huge unit, but it does the job in the long run. A good product.
