BEWARE! Hidden anti-theft device, NOT mentioned in the instructions!

ATTENTION! A hidden anti-theft device NOT mentioned in the instructions needs to be removed from the old key fob to a new one in order for your car to start! My Honda Accord is 2007 so I had no idea it would have this kind of technology. The manual says absolutely NOTHING about it even though the new key fob ordered was for a 2007 Honda Accord. It was a complete 48 hour nightmare after changing that fob when I didn't realize my car wouldn't start because the old one had an anti-theft device. the key fob had to be installed in a new key fob. It ended up costing me $550, and it ended up being the fact that the new key fob didn't have proper instructions. Luckily, I still had the old key fob in the bottom of the bin when my mechanic finally figured out the problem and removed the tiny anti-theft element from the old key fob I dug out of the trash. Luckily. The day before pickup the weather was so bad and the wind was blowing so hard that I decided not to throw out my trash that day or it would have cost me a new Honda key fob, $550 in parts and labor and two days of work . Also note that the anti-theft element had to be super-glued into the new key fob in the exact position for it to work when my car starts. I will never buy a used keychain again!
