I bought these for my cats and thought they were very cute but after a few weeks of endless care the collars looked like they were 5 years old. They started to fray and wear out and I couldn't take it anymore so I just threw them away and bought leather instead. I think they would work fine for a one cat home, but if you have frequent groomers I wouldn't bother. Otherwise they're cute, the bells fit well, and eventually I got home and realized that the snap-off clasp worked. If they didn't wear out so easily I would give them 5 stars.
