I was hesitant about this purchase for one simple reason, the wire wheels just creep and fall apart on me. I was surprised when I used it with moderate pressure on it for about 20 minutes after which only minor wear was noticed. I used this item in a drill to remove baked on powder coating from my Oklahoma Joe smoker. There was only about a half inch of trim around the edges that needed to be stripped down to bare metal, if this item wore it would have seriously scratched unwanted spots on my grill.
