I have worn many different knee pads over the years from all the major manufacturers and the Fox enduro knee pad is by far the most comfortable. I was specifically looking for a knee pad that would offer some protection when riding a trail bike. First, comfort and coolness (temperature) were considered. I have several other types of knee pads for different levels of protection and I contend that these knee pads have minimal padding and would not be my first choice for enduro or downhill bike parks. Again, this was not the intended use. The first ride out of the gate was a trail ride that included a lot of climbs and hilly terrain. The temperature rose slightly in the last hour of the journey. These pads fit Fox's size chart (the same model elbow pads are small). I think the biggest compliment I can give is that I didn't even realize I was wearing knee pads. They never slipped when driving and did not interfere when driving on steep slopes. It appears to be well made and should last a long time. Depending on your requirements, I can recommend other enduro, downhill and park crash protection models and provide information about them. Happy trails!
