Colored pencils come in a pretty box with a removable insert. However, the shelf can hardly be pulled out without first pulling out the colored pencils one by one. However, I don't see a problem with that. The bank itself is fine if you work. It's not cumbersome at all. For a small set there is a wide range of typical colors. You won't need many other colors for a simple colored pencil drawing, but if you expect to draw multiple shades of color, you should probably look at a larger set. As advertised, they sharpen very well without eating. Pencil. They mix easily and layer well. I've found them to be better for small details than filling large areas. They're advertised as having a "soft, velvety core," but they seem to fall somewhere between hard and soft. They have extremely light pigments, which I really liked, but if you want to work with more muted tones, you should probably look elsewhere. All in all, I would definitely recommend them for beginners to amateur artists.
