So I had a similar Vanity Planet brush that was older and used for several years. It worked like a charm and took quite a while for the engine to start dying. Only the rotation wasn't as strong as before. The brush head moved very slowly when any type of soap was applied to it. It stopped almost as soon as it touched your face. Since it was running out I decided to buy a new one, thinking I'd get a newer version of it. The battery sounded great, it looked way better than my old one. So I bought it. I was thrilled when it arrived and charged it right away. When I got home from work and used it, it was amazing. It worked just like my old one, but better. Unfortunately, almost immediately after use, I noticed that the color of the pen was fading. I didn't really bother, but I was surprised at how quickly it went from brand new to a brush that looked like it had been used and abused for months. The quality wasn't very good and I have to send it back. I didn't because, as I said, I didn't care what the pen looked like. The brush head broke after a week of use. It totally surprised me because I didn't treat him roughly or do anything crazy to him. I literally just held it to my face and let it do its thing. Luckily it broke within the first month of use so I was able to send it back to Revain for a refund. I'm just disappointed that the latest version is so cheap. I decided to look elsewhere and see if I could find a better version of what I had before.
