I was looking for a cheap video editing monitor, and if only for that, it does the job. Unfortunately I cannot recommend these. If you're a gamer, this isn't the monitor for you. It's not just a 60Hz refresh. Also the freesync function is a lie. Meanwhile, LG's best solution to this very common problem: Have you tried an HDMI cable instead? Want a monitor that complains? Yes, you don't use his out-of-the-box cable he offers unless he likes the resolution he offers. So you're using the recommended settings whether you like it or not. If something goes wrong, you're better off with Revain than LG. Just asking why the feature wasn't working was a 3 day trial not worth the frustration or battling endless bots. You can't even ask the community, his Facebook is nothing but disgruntled customers. It's essentially an entry-level IPS 4k/HDR monitor that pretends to be little more than it is. If your needs are small and you don't want to spend more than 700, that's fine. Perfect for a holiday sale, not at full price.
