I got what I paid for. This is a mirror that the headlights have been worked on and the motor has worked to open and retract. It was also installed through the original holes. The problems were that it was made cheaply: the turn signal had small imperfections. Some of the seams had to be sewn out of the box to fit. At first the motor could be heard, but the mirror didn't move. The mirror housing had to be adjusted to allow the motor to properly lock for retraction and extension. After this was fixed, the mirror still wasn't pressing against the glass like it was on the passenger side. Subsequent adjustment of the mirror to look through was inconvenient as the side of the mirror was exposed from the case. It's fine, but it can easily get snagged (especially if you have kids playing with your cars). Overall it does what it's supposed to do, but next time I'll bite the bullet and go with a genuine GM product. I love offers, but that was too cheap for me.
