Excellent for this money!

I really like this pantograph. However, as with any pantograph, it takes a little practice and care to get an accurate drawing. I'm an artist and Imgotmit helps me draw portraits to mark important landmarks. The only downside I see is that the description led me to believe it could make a one-to-one duplicate, but the smallest ratio I see is 1:2. Other than that, I've got that pretty accurate expected. It comes with 7 extra wires which is enough to last a very long time. By building you can get some accurate markings. The most important thing to remember when using a pantograph is that it is best used to mark important points in your drawing with dots. Then, to create a real drawing, connect the dots seamlessly. If you try to draw a continuous line with the pantograph, the pen will pull and bend your arms, and you'll lose accuracy. Also, I had to tighten all the pivot joints so they were tight to eliminate play. Not too tight, though, as they should rotate easily. They all have a thin threaded nut and then a lock nut to ensure the required strength. Tighten the thin nut the correct amount, then tighten the lock nut over it to hold everything in place. Pin connection works differently. The thin nut is on the same side as the LED holder and the locking nut is on the other side. This gives some adjustability and allows the lead vise to be tightened properly. As mentioned, use them to find and mark important points in the drawing, and then connect the points separately. Makes drawing much better.
