The first user is suitable for marine GPS. Accessories

I've never used a sextant, but I've always wondered if I could tell my position from the sky. My first line of position after getting used to the sextant and the artificial horizon seemed fine to me, but I'm sure I'll improve it. I haven't had good sun since I did the first LOP, so I don't have a "solution" yet. However, by logging the LOP and GPS location of my cell phone, I can be within 6 miles. Not great but this is my first experience. I have a few suggestions for Davies: 1) Add sketches of what the sun should look like for an upper and lower limb image in the sextant instructions. First I tried placing the reflection above/below the sun, but they should be half each, side by side in the middle, ie the image of the sun on the left and the reflection of the index shoulder on the right; 2) Add a note to the artificial horizon manual to warn the user about the field of view. So I was too far away (I'm at 43 degrees north latitude), but I found a review on YouTube that said the closer you get to the artificial horizon, the wider your field of view. This made it fairly easy to get an image of the sun mid-water on the artificial horizon. Overall, I award 5 stars because the device runs smoothly and fully meets my expectations for the price. Additionally, the alignment adjustment instructions were simple and straightforward. My only issue leveling up was finding a suitable target at least a mile away, which is hard to find in my town.
