Buttons are dangling, not the most durable, unlocking does not work

I bought this doorknob almost three years ago. Installation, programming codes and basic operation are easy to understand. The first impression is good. In the first months, the keys began to tap: pressing the key twice was registered, forcing a re-entering of the code. Very soft keystrokes are required to avoid key vibration. The problem got worse over time. Once, when I opened the door, I held a package in my hand and the box scraped off the rubber caps for a couple of buttons. It seemed that tearing them down didn't take much effort. Now I reach to the body with my pinky to press the switches directly. It's a little too tight for my relatively small fingers. This may not be a problem if you are very careful with the keyboard. After about two years, electronic unlocking began to falter. I would have to re-enter the codes to unlock it. I've noticed that it fails less often when the batteries are fresh. As time went by, more and more repetitions were required. Today I have 100% electronic unlock failures - even with brand new batteries. Now I can only enter the door with the key. I'll buy a replacement for a more reliable one.
