suitable for welders

I work as a welder at the largest US shipyard. I have owned this item for almost 8 months. It has seen some wear and tear, some cracks and cracks which they say have failed and continue. I'm so glad it's flame retardant or flame retardant, sparks fly everywhere and I don't have to worry. I stuffed it to the brim, welder's thighs, whip, 2 sets of welding gloves, respirator, bucket and drill motor, jackhammer, wire brush, and a large and a small flashlight. (This may require some organizational skills but is possible.) There is also a zip pocket in the backpack which I use to store all my small items such as MIG parts, bolts + nuts etc. the only real parts showing visible damage - the outer mesh and bottom of the backpack due to wear and tear and packaging. The shield holder is a little double sided, one side is great and protects your shield from damage and scratches, definitely won't fit in a backpack (I've tried). On the other hand, when going up and down stairs or near wires/conduits (at least in my job) it clings to everything and can get in the way at times. Although it takes a few seconds to detach and attach. The two wider sides of the pack are reinforced with plastic, the two narrower sides are just fabric so the shape doesn't change much.

Pros
  • welding gloves
Cons
  • will be added later
