Great backpack, think I had a bad batch.

CHECK YOUR ZIPPERS! I really like the backpack, but one of the zippers on the lid didn't close well. Ordered a replacement and that was it. Revain is contacting the manufacturer regarding the issue. I'm ordering one from another site hoping it's from a different batch. I'm by no means saying don't buy it just to test the zipper and if there's a problem they'll send another while you use the other. No big deal. You can close it completely by using another zipper all the way to the end instead of

Great gear bag! Protection and safety

Overall a great bag for the money. The rigid body keeps the bag upright and open for easy access, storage and portability. The interior pockets/slits aren't too bad for small hand tools. The interior zip opening is great for storing some papers and a thin notepad. Adjustable compartment for different hoods and light lining for some protection. I had no issues other than the lack of a stiffer outer support, which allowed my hood to "warp" from sitting in the truck smashed for several days…

Large pocket for tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

All my leather clothes fit in the main compartment with; Jackhammer, 10" wire brush, 7R vise, 12" combo angle, MIG pliers, TIG tungsten and more. Gloves are conveniently located in the side elastic cover. The welding cap and respirator go into a drawstring pocket on the other side. The best part is the loops on the sides. you keep; my car keys, goggles, flint hammer, pencil, soapstone and pocket ruler. Thick shoulder straps make it easy to carry. Comes with a small fridge for soft meals. The…

suitable for welders

I work as a welder at the largest US shipyard. I have owned this item for almost 8 months. It has seen some wear and tear, some cracks and cracks which they say have failed and continue. I'm so glad it's flame retardant or flame retardant, sparks fly everywhere and I don't have to worry. I stuffed it to the brim, welder's thighs, whip, 2 sets of welding gloves, respirator, bucket and drill motor, jackhammer, wire brush, and a large and a small flashlight. (This may require some organizational…

Fits better than expected.

Let me start by saying that I am not a welder and have owned my welder less than 24 hours so this backpack will not be abused on a daily basis. When I bought this backpack I wasn't sure if it would have enough room inside for a hood and jacket. Finding a sweat backpack was relatively easy as there are only 3 options, all ranging from $60-$80. I decided to pay $20 more than other brands because of the side glove pockets. I thought I could put a glove on each side because I bought these large…
