Great for a new puppy.
Purchased to take two dogs to the vet at the same time. So far this has worked very well. I put a puppy in (she weighs about 4lbs) so my hands are free to carry my other dog or go for a walk. I was considering getting an expandable one (as opposed to one that doesn't expand), but I'm glad I got this one. I have already used the expanding part. The only thing I've noticed so far that I'd like to change is that the fleece backing (which becomes the bottom when pulled apart) doesn't seem to come out for washing. The bottom fleece comes out.
