used this on our dog on a family trip to Utah this summer. It was great when stopping to eat, the bag fits in the cabin or on the floor. Our pup loved it and jumped into the front wing to hang out even though we were at the hotel at night. The inside is lined with sheepskin-like fabric, looks very comfortable. It was also easy to carry, we carried it on a 5 mile hike and it was pretty much comparable to a regular backpack. I highly recommend it.

I tried the Bubble Book Bag and was struggling to get my cats in. They are much larger and easier to install and remove. I love the plush paddles on the inside of the base and extension. I had them transport the cats and gave them a limited opportunity to go outside, get some air, and take a walk with me. They are bigger, better and much more functional than a bubble bag. They exceeded my expectations and was worth paying a little more for.

Purchased to take two dogs to the vet at the same time. So far this has worked very well. I put a puppy in (she weighs about 4lbs) so my hands are free to carry my other dog or go for a walk. This is quite an interesting design but it fits my very large Maine Coon cat very well. I had trouble transporting him and making sure he was comfortable and not claustrophobic. Note that when fully unfolded it won't fit under an airplane seat in any way, but it does fit in a regular passenger seat, so you'll end up paying for the extra seat when it's fully unfolded. This is a great and handy bag, but there are a few design quirks that keep it from being perfect. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the mesh is very tightly woven in the main part of the backpack (rather than the expandable part of the drawer). I doubt my pup will see much of this and I suppose he will get very hot in a backpack in warm weather, especially since the mesh is also black. This backpack is sturdy, well made and comfortably fits my 11kg cat (both him and me)! He really loves it. I love that my cat has many entry points and that it is collapsible. I also really like that the pillow is removable and washable.
