This backpack is sturdy, well made and comfortably fits my 11kg cat (both him and me)! He really loves it. I love that my cat has many entry points and that it is collapsible. I also really like that the pillow is removable and washable. However, the reason I would give it 1.5 stars if I could is because the inside of the back is made of the same faux fur as the pillow but is NOT removable. Since this part is in constant contact with your pet, it makes no sense that you can't wipe the material clean or remove it for washing. Also, with so much fluffy material in the main compartment, I feel like my cat tends to overheat on my back. Lastly, I think my cat will feel more secure in a backpack made out of a harder material than mesh, making her feel more insecure.
