Tension problems with storage and organization

Bought about a year ago. I try never to write a review until I've used the product enough to know what I really think about it. So what can I tell you a year later: ADVANTAGES: *Easy to install and remove *Convenient for "storing" clotheslines if you live somewhere that doesn't have permanent clotheslines or you don't have space have for a clothesline. traditional clothesline with two poles. * solid construction - can't complain about breaking tension handles or plastic cracking (like others have) CONS: * tension worked for all 5 ropes for about 3 weeks then the middle rope started to sag (although it was almost never used). After trying to retighten it as instructed (probably after 2 months of increasing looseness) it got worse and we ended up removing the center strap entirely. on the same side of the missing centerline) also began to sag, and the tension knob couldn't fix it. All in all: It did what it was supposed to do, hang the clothes and save on dryer usage, but it's not a long-term solution without regularly taking care of slack lines and tightening them up.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Running speed
