I used this vacuum pump to create vacuum for my first split AC mini condenser unit. I think for my next install I will get a digital counter for a more accurate ppm count. This is still a great pump that I will use again. I can also use it to install a new air conditioner in my car which is basically what this kit is for. If you have a mini split, don't forget to get an adapter to plug it in - this kit does not include the special adapter common to mini splits. It looks like the included adapters plug into standard air tool sockets. I was able to use them to hook up my air compressor to check the pressure.
