Like, I don't use this shock feature as I use it on my small cats. I don't screw in probes. Every night around 3am my two cats get into some sort of cat fight, I can hear them growling and I get so angry when I'm sleeping that I interrupt myself at the same time every night. You know I can't get out of bed. The only feature I use is the alarm sound which is adjustable from 1 to 8. I press this button two or three times, I don't have to say a word, they stop immediately. So I can highly recommend that. Another thing I did because the straps are so long I cut them off and then used my hot glue gun to glue them into a small cut out in the plastic sleeve which holds up great and fits each kitty individually. I would also recommend getting an extended 3 year warranty so you can be sure the battery will last as it is rechargeable and will most likely fail before a year. Asurion will help exchange for a few extra bucks if it will die.
