This is a good medium security bike lock, very compact, packs easily and securely into the bracket provided. The holder attaches to standard bottle holders, making it the perfect storage solution. I bought a smaller size large enough to secure the frame and rear wheel. I wouldn't trust this lock for overnight outdoor storage, but for daytime use while dining or shopping it should be fine. The keys are a bit fiddly, the locking mechanism doesn't feel as secure, but that's probably one of the tradeoffs of using a lightweight lock, and this lock only weighs about a pound and a half, the same as a 24-ounce water bottle. I'm sure any determined bike thief can pick this lock, but it's more secure. than steel cable and is much easier to use than a U-lock and easier to store on the bike than any other design.
