Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Optimize Suspension Performance with Monroe Shocks & Struts Max-Air MA704 Air Shock Absorber by Brian Forbis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Used on a 1968 Dart

I found a similar review from someone trying to fit it to the body of a Dodge A so I went with it. They came with bushings on each side to keep the shocks clear of the body and gas tank and both work great. My 1968 Dodge Dart doesn't have much room to route underneath, so I routed the air lines directly into the trunk and placed the inflation valve on the block where the trunk lid closes, hiding the inflation valve inside. They work great and the ride is comfortable at lower pressures (30-50) but at 60-80 I get a lot of lift and the rear gets very stiff. you feel everything They are great for quick switching. I also use an onboard air compressor system to push them. I should also note that the Monroes I received are black. Solid black, not white like the picture but it was correct. So if you choose a visual style where the strokes are white, be careful as they are not.
