I bought handles to replace all the cupboard doors in the kitchen. They are very pretty and well made and look great. Unfortunately, the handles on the most frequently used doors wear out after a short time and show an unsightly orange-metallic hue. Now I'm faced with the task of not only finding replacements for about five frequently used cupboards, but of course all suitable cupboards. I'm disappointed and should have known to spend a little more on the hickory hardware I ordered for drawers that don't have this wear and tear issue. Lesson learned.
