To be honest the meter looks good. Due to the limited space in my engine bay, I cannot mount a timer on the engine and read the time. I bought this gauge to hook up to the vacuum port on my carburetor on my truck so I can set the truck's manifold (timing) for MAX vacuum. In theory, that sounded easy. In the end, I just set the time by ear. When setting the time with the maximum vacuum method, the motor just didn't sound right. Maybe my tongue was in the wrong position? I do not know. I'm pretty sure the sensor is fine, it's probably just me. I had to spend a little more money! LAUGH OUT LOUD
