Originally ordered a different, more expensive sensor; but did not arrive with a zero Innova arrived with a zero and was easy to read. I would like to see more adapters with the kit

I'm very happy with the gauge - it's solidly built, has an all-metal body and a glass dial. The gauge is large enough (4 inches across?) that I can place it on the engine and read it from the driver's seat while adjusting the throttle. It's also nice that it comes with enough hoses and fittings to be ready to use. .

This thing is already broken and I've had it for a month now. The needle now shows about 4 notches left of zero with no vacuum on and moves to over 30 at the bottom of the scale with the vacuum on. Spend a little more at your local hardware store or elsewhere online (couldn't find a better one on Revain at the moment) and buy a quality sensor because this one is definitely not (the quality is there).

Vacuum check on my high power engine. I have a race carb that uses a power valve instead of a choke. Power valve adjustment is critical to a balanced ride. The correct power valve setting is 1/2 manifold vacuum. Therefore, accurate reading is required. This tester is not only accurate but also easy to use and easy to read. Comes with a variety of adapters to fit any carbureted engine.

Build quality is reasonable but not essential but I expected it so I'm happy. I got it to check the vacuum line going to the secondary air valve that was triggering the check engine light. I was able to verify that a vacuum was present, eventually diagnosing that the valve was defective. It was a frugal purchase that did the trick. To be honest the meter looks good. Due to the limited space in my engine bay, I cannot mount a timer on the engine and read the time. I bought this gauge to hook up to the vacuum port on my carburetor on my truck so I can set the truck's manifold (timing) for MAX vacuum. In theory, that sounded easy.
