The device works very well. Easy-to-use controls, it is very easy to "pair" the sending and receiving devices, although this operation has to be done every time you use the device, but this is only a minor inconvenience, given the procedure for pairing from devices takes only a few seconds. The temperature sensors are accurate and easy to use, and easy to clean after the job is done. If you're cooking two cuts of meat and want each cut to have a different core temperature, you can set each of the temperature sensors to different temperatures, which is great. The ability to fine-tune your desired meat temperature from preset meat temperatures is a very nice feature. The receiver worked well for me, allowing me to receive a clear, consistent signal anywhere in my home or yard within 100 feet. The only fault I can find with the device is that the receiver loses signal from time to time. This has happened to me several times over my last 3 cooking sessions, but each time the unit has automatically recovered the signal within minutes and displayed accurate temperature information again. Overall I am very happy with the unit and have found that it makes BBQ and smoker cooking much easier and more enjoyable and helps me cook meat perfectly cooked.
