Radio thermometer Maverick ET-7

The device works very well. Easy-to-use controls, it is very easy to "pair" the sending and receiving devices, although this operation has to be done every time you use the device, but this is only a minor inconvenience, given the procedure for pairing from devices takes only a few seconds. The temperature sensors are accurate and easy to use, and easy to clean after the job is done. If you're cooking two cuts of meat and want each cut to have a different core temperature, you can set each of…

Definitely serves a purpose

I have used this product several times and have mixed feelings. I like the convenience of knowing the temperature of the meat and my big green egg by looking out the window (when the transmitter isn't working, which it usually is). The transmitter doesn't work at all. When I first used this product I was unable to use the transmitter in a breakfast area that was less than 10 feet from a smoker. Good but lots of room for improvement

Overall I'm pretty excited about this item. I bought it from Revain as it was the top rated wireless thermometer. It certainly works well, but there's plenty of room for improvement. After a 12 hour smoke, here are my first thoughts: Pros: * Multiple probes * Easy to read display * Long cords (about 4 feet) for convenience * Decent range (can walk almost anywhere in the house within 10 meters or a line) out of sight) Cons: * Intermittent signal - lost/found signal from time to time. * No signal

Terrible Meat Product

This is a great idea and would be great if it worked. Too bad it doesn't work half the time. I've tried everything to make sure it's reliable. What really sucks about it is that it just randomly crashes and fails. The worst thing is you don't know when it will fail. If it's out of sync or no longer receiving a signal, there's no visual indication it's happened unless you actually look at it. There's a small satellite icon that flashes when data is being received, but this only happens about…
