The great thing about swim shirts is their UV protection, the bad part is they have to be quite snug which my son doesn't really like. However, this shirt seems to fit in general. He ordered a size 16, averages 5ft 4in and weighs 115 pounds and wears a size 16 on most clothing brands. Those familiar with Under Armor's slim fit for youth will find that the fit of this shirt is very similar . The sleeves and hem of the shirt are snug against the skin but still a bit loose as expected, especially considering the "thin" nature, the narrowest part of the shirt for my son is right in the chest area - so maybe a bit small. but still manageable. good product.
