Review on πŸš— GLISTON Scratch Remover: Ultimate Car Polish Buffer Kit to Repair Scratches, Scuffs & Water Spots - 10.2oz by Ryan Hart

It's just your basic polish with some nice extras.

I bought this to try and remove some scratches and blemishes from my black truck. Here are my observations from direct use: 1. This compound is really good for some things like removing paint haze, stubborn dirt stains and scuffs. Many of these abrasions can be mistaken for scratches, but I am talking about abrasions where something is left on your paint rather than being removed from it.2. While it's great for removing unwanted substances from your paintwork, it doesn't really help much with even the tiniest of scratches, especially if you also have a clear coat over the paint color. Think about it. This is a mildly abrasive compound designed to *remove* material, not add it, not move it. So while their promise to remove scratches is an unfortunate lie, I think you can also blame the usual BS on the part of every other manufacturer of comparable products. The inclusion of a microfiber cloth is really neat and practical. What is the best way to ensure you are using the correct cloth to apply and remove this paste? So thanks for the recording. I also love that they included a generous sheet of 2000 grit wet sandpaper, although I can see a lot of people don't know what to do with it. Sandpaper actually makes more sense than paste to remove scratches on its own as it's a bit more aggressive in terms of hardness. It also removes FABULOUS hard water stains from glass and metal - chrome rims, windows, shower doors etc. If you have hard water you will find this sandpaper an absolute revelation! In summary, this is not a great scratch remover. But it's a great kit for removing just about anything that doesn't belong with your paintwork and glass, and it can help with even the smallest of scratches. It's a bit more expensive than I think, but the extras make up for some of that. Overall, this is a keeper and worth 4 stars from me.
