I have a few hairline scratches from the car wash on my roof so I wanted something to remove or cover them up. It really doesn't work. It may have made them 10% less visible, but no more. Looks like it's just car wax. I didn't try the included sandpaper as I didn't plan on ruining my car's roof in the experiment. Very disappointed. I would like to return it, but since I've used it I can't.

I was skeptical that this would remove scratches but surprisingly it worked. I remove light scratches, but it doesn't hide deep cuts. Edit: I used it on my dark blue car on day one and it was great. However, after 4 days I tried to use it on my friend's red car and it actually washed off its paintwork. Don't skimp when trying to cover up a scratch, this has now become a much more costly problem.

I use car paint for conversions. Mostly with 3M products. This scratch remover is thicker and more aggressive at removing scratches than products previously used. Be careful not to use it on soft or uncured paintwork. You will see the ink showing on your fabric. This is a great product to use after sanding with 2000 mesh to remove deeper scratches. However, the instructions could be better. For newbies at work, we recommend that you check Youtube or other sites before you start messing around.

Look for a product that actually does what it promises. Tried several other products, many appear to be from China, like this one. I have to say that on lighter scratches it does a pretty good job of removing or minimizing scratches. If you have a scratch on the primer or on the metal, this won't work. Just used it with my son to polish about 30 scratches on our minivan. The scratches were fairly superficial but clearly visible. Most have completely disappeared (I mean completely, like magic!), a few are barely discernible upon closer inspection (but who will?). Only two small scratches remained, I think they were a little deeper. We only spent 30-60 seconds on each scratch.
