Review on 💇 Wahl Professional Beret 8841: Ultra Quiet Trimmer for Barbers & Stylists by Abby Johnson

Thanks to its small size, this trimmer is ideal for trimming around the ears and shaping the goatee. The quick retouches are also very easy as they are so easy to grab. This is a welcome addition to Wahl's 5-star senior clippers range. The haircut is not as tight as I expected. You still need a shaving foil. The shortest guard is not short enough for my beard; It seemed sloppier (sp?) looking than my Conaire (which is electronically adjustable). However, Conair is not suitable for the versions available with Beret. The shaving head can be removed for cleaning. The inside is closed to prevent hair from entering the engine; This is good as there is a small gap that allows the hair to go past the head. However, it is easy to clean. My summary is this: Beret is an acceptable specialty trimmer that requires a small head. Battery life was out of the question since the purchase was new, but it's better to be exceptional if it matches the 7+ years I've had a $40 Conaire trimmer. Based on the cost of my Conaire I think the beret is grossly overpriced.
