Only certain serial numbers work with Windows 7 64-bit operating system The software that comes with this data logger works if you have Windows XP or Vista, it unless you download the software from the Extech website. This works with a 32-bit Windows 7 operating system, but only new data loggers work with a 64-bit operating system. You'll have to call them to find out which serial numbers are newer. The data logger I received was old and not working. I had one of the old data loggers and have been using it for years and it's great. I just wish they would change the name of the data logger that works with Windows 7 64 bit so I know which model I'm buying.
