Worked well. I had to use a small screwdriver to pry off the fuel hose. Be careful not to damage the latch on the connector. You should actually be able to pick the lock with your fingers, it's quite fragile. But if you break it, then they replace some models, at least the F-150. I've seen people first remove the filter and then shut off the lines. However, I found it easier to disconnect the lines first, this gives you some advantage when disconnecting. There is no need to turn off the fuel pump, just remove the fuel cap for 20-30 minutes before removing the hoses. You'll get gas anyway, so bring rags and a container and goggles.
