Review on Fanimation Fans MAD8514MWW TriAire Custom by William Stevenson

Fan has remote control and receiver. To set them up, you need to put the remote in learning mode and wait a few minutes for them to finish. This operation was not completed, so the fan could not be used. I have contacted Fanimation via email as you cannot call them and explained that I have followed all the steps in the guide and would like to resolve the issue. A few days later they responded by repeating the setup instructions in the manual but adding the suggestion to remove the batteries from the remote to reset the remote. Tried it with the same result. Emailed them again and a few days later they were told to try a different frequency by changing the DIP switches on the remote and receiver. I'm not sure why I wasn't told this in the original email. I tried this with the same error. I emailed him and am still waiting. Not received quickly so I decided to return and not buy this brand. Update: After emailing tech support that changing the DIP switches didn't work, the next day I received an email asking if a remote function worked. I replied to this email two days ago and received no reply. Looks like they shipped a replacement remote and receiver straight away. So tomorrow it will be two weeks since I first contacted Fanimation for assistance on this matter.
